About Margarida Veloso

Hello! My name is Margarida Veloso, I'm a nutritionist (CP.3410N) and mother of 2 babies. I believe eating well shouldn't mean restrictions or hard-to-follow rules. Throughout my experience, I've found that lasting results come from building simple habits, with close support and a flexible approach, adapted to each person. My own experience during pregnancy sparked a special interest in maternal and infant nutrition, where I now support women and families through different stages of life.

My Story

I've been a nutritionist for over 10 years and a mother of two babies. Throughout my clinical practice, I became increasingly aware that approaches based on rigid diets rarely produce sustainable results. Real change happens when nutrition is integrated realistically into daily life, with personalised, close support adapted to each stage of life. It was from this vision that my support method was born: a structured, flexible, evidence-based approach that prioritises building lasting habits and a balanced relationship with food. Later, through my own experience of motherhood, I deepened this perspective further. During pregnancy, I faced doubts and challenges that showed me, very clearly, the need for more specialised and human support at this stage. If so many uncertainties arise even with training in the field, it's easy to understand the impact this can have on those without that knowledge. That moment led me to specialise in maternal and infant nutrition. Today, I support women and families through different stages of life — from pre-conception and pregnancy, to postpartum, food introduction and children's growth — always with an individualised, practical approach adjusted to each person's reality. More than meal plans, my goal is to offer guidance, confidence and tools that allow people to build a healthy relationship with food throughout their lives.
